The Soul

So far all the focus has been on The Body and The Mind and for many that is enough, however, being a complementary therapist myself I think it is important to look at Seasonal Affective Disorder holistically.  This means we have to include those aspects of us that are not so apparent.  In this section I cover complementary therapies that I believe will be helpful in treating SAD.

The therapies I will cover in depth are:

Bach Flower Remedies

Energy healing methods

Colour therapy

However, there are other things that can be good for the soul that are very simple.  Music is an easily accessible tool that can reach very deep levels.  If you find yourself turning on dark depressing music why not change and play something uplifting.  Heavy metal is my normal go to music but in the winter I have found this to be extremely uplifting.

As I research further I will add how other modalities can help with Seasonal Affective Disorder.
